The Akamas Blossom Trail Running Festival will now be a social weekend running festival using the basic 38km and 24km Akamas Blossom race courses but adapted for different starting points and with short cut options to include runners of all abilities.  \nParticipating runners will need to be able to be self-sufficient for up to 25km for the longer distances. They will also need to navigate using their phones/watches with the GPX tracks and maps provided. \nRuns will start and finish at the Aphrodite Family Eco campsite\, where we will be based for the weekend. \nProvisional Weekend Programme: \nSaturday June 7: \nFrom 09:00 – Meet at the Eco camp to register for the day’s run.10:00 – Set off on a 21 km route (shorter options also possible).14:00 – Picnic lunch at Eco camp15:00 – Beach time! \n18:30 – BBQ for those who wish to join us. DESCRIPTION:Get ready for the 4th Cyprus Wine Run which is organised under the umbrella of events of the 26th Logicom Cyprus Marathon! \nThe Cyprus Wine Run will incorporate the 5km distance which will take you through 2 kilometres of vineyards and farm fields and 3 kilometres of breathtaking mountain views and traditional roads through the old village square. The race will be organised on Tuesday the 14th of March\, 2 days after the big Sunday Marathon! Bus Transfers will start at 08:30 and the Wine Run will start at 10:00. \nThe location\, Vasilikon Winery\, is located at the village of Kathikas\, 20-25 minutes from Paphos City Centre. Vasilikon Winery is one of the first local wineries of Cyprus\, established in 1993. They are famous for “Vasilikon White Dry”\, “Einalia Rose”\, “Agios Onoufrios” and “Methy Cabernet Sauvignon”. \nThe entry (€40) includes: \n\nBus Transfers from Paphos City Centre to the Winery\nRace Number\nMedal\nTechnical T-shirt of the event\nBottle of Wine for all finishers\nWine Tasting\nTraditional Food Cocktail\nWinery Tour\nMuseum Tour\nBus Transfers back to Paphos City Centre\n\nFirst Man and First Woman will receive a Magnum Bottle of Wine.

DESCRIPTION:Starting on September 25\, 2023 \n\nDuration: 10 weeks\nFrequency: 3 times a week\n\nJoin the Couch to 5k program\, led by Sue Cordrey\, the President of Paphos Running Club. This program is designed to help participants\, including those who’ve never run before or returning runners\, run 5k without stopping by the end of the course. During the 10 weeks\, the routes will take you around the beautiful Paphos area\, and you’ll have companions throughout your journey. No one is ever left alone. \nTo find the routes\, you can easily follow the schedules on the Facebook group pages of both Paphos Running Club and Sole Sisters. Additionally\, at the end of each session\, you’ll be informed about the location of the next one. DESCRIPTION:Ο Δήμος Λατσιών και ο οργανισμός Running In Cyprus ενώνουν δυνάμεις και ανακοινώνουν τη διοργάνωση του «LATSIA RUNNING FESTIVAL»!\n\n\n\nΤο «LATSIA RUNNING FESTIVAL» είναι αγώνας δρόμου με φιλανθρωπικό χαρακτήρα\, ο οποίος θα διεξαχθεί την Κυριακή\, 23 Απριλίου 2023.\n\n\n\nΟ αγώνας περιλαμβάνει αποστάσεις 10 και 5 χιλιομέτρων\, όπως επίσης και παιδικό αγώνα. Η εκκίνηση και ο τερματισμός θα γίνουν στο Δημαρχείο Λατσιών.\n\n\n\nΟι συμμετέχοντες θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να τρέξουν ή να περπατήσουν στις κύριες Λεωφόρους του Δήμου και στον τερματισμό θα επιβραβευθούν με αναμνηστικά μετάλλια. Οι συμμετέχοντες θα λάβουν επίσης και τεχνική φανέλα\, ειδική για τρέξιμο. Επιπλέον\, στο χώρο θα υπάρχουν νερά\, ηλεκτρολύτες και φρούτα.\n\n\n\nΓια τους πιο ανταγωνιστικούς\, θα υπάρχουν έπαθλα για τους τρεις πρώτους κάθε ηλικιακής κατηγορίας (σε άντρες και γυναίκες – και στους 2 αγώνες).
